Cum sa te impaci cu imaginea ta dupa 40 de ani

      Cand am implinit 47 de ani am privit inapoi sa vad ce schimbari s-au petrecut in ultimii 3 ani.Cel mai mult s-a schimbat corpul meu. Unde-mi era talia? Ce era grasimea aceea pe abdomenul meu? Soldurile si burta mea erau mai evidente. M-am gandit ca e doar ceva temporar, asa ca am facut mai multa gimnastica, dar nimic nu s-a intamplat. Asa ca a trebuit sa renunt la costumele de casmir si hainele elegante si sa-mi cumpar haine cu o marime mai mari.
      In Romania m-am mai ingrasat putin, dar n-am vrut sa-mi schimb garderoba. Deci trebuia sa fac mai multe exercitii si sa mananc mai putin. Deloc distractiv. Dar cum sa imbraci acum acest trup dolofan? Iata cateva sfaturi care te vor ajuta sa ascunzi unele parti disgratioase acum si sa pui in valoare altele.
      *Cumpara ceea ce ti se potriveste corpului tau si nu marimea ta. Cel mai urat lucru e sa vezi pe cineva imbracat cu niste pantaloni, care sunt pe punctul de a plesni in fata sau la fermoar.
      *Cumparati bluze , care se muleaza pe bust fara decolteuri mari.
      *Pentru abdomenul accentuat cumparati fuste tip clos, pliuri si adaugati buzunare pe margine. Aveti grija ca pliurile sa nu se traga.
      *Aveti in vedere fustele cu pliuri late, fustele drepte, cordoanele si curelele late sau stranse.
      *Pentru solduri mari luati in considerare jachetele drepte, care ajung pana la talie sau cele care trec de solduri.
      *Evitati fustele si pantalonii stramti, doar daca partea superioara o acopera pe cea din spate.
      *Evitati detalii cu buzunare posterioare, modele orizontale si fustele in bie.
      *Daca sunteti micuta de statura , dar aveti solduri mari, evitati jachetele lungi si preferati-le pe cele patrate.
      *Daca aveti fundul plat cele mai potrivite sunt costumele din doua piese.
      *Asigurati-va ca pantalonii va vin comod.
      *Daca tocmai ati sesizat ca v-ati mai rotunjit un pic , asigurati-va ca toate hainele va mai vin si apoi decideti cu ce va imbracati.
      *Alegeti costume inchise la culoare, bine croite si obiecte vestimentare care va accentueaza fata :esarfe sau bijuterii.
      *Preferati sacourile din materiale moi si la care partea superioara se poate purta peste fusta.
      *Cumparati curele inguste si purtati-le putin sub talie.
      *Evitati hainele foarte stramte sau foarte largi.
      *Alegeti modelele proportionale cu marimea dumneavoastra, dar feriti-va de cele pronuntate.
      *Evitati puloverele masive, jachetele neconventionale si culorile care se schimba in jurul taliei.
      *In final evitati curelele late si alegeti-le pe acelea care sunt mai deschise la culoare decat pantalonii.




Dealing with Your Image After 40

      As I come upon my 47th birthday, I look back at what changes occurred in the past three years. The biggest change was my body ? what happened to my waist? What is this bulge in my abdomen? My hips and my stomach, they all grew. I hated dealing with it and thought it was temporary so I exercised more and nothing happened. So reluctantly, I gave up my nice cashmere suits and fancy threads and went up a size and shopped online with Land?s End.
      In Romania, my stomach grew some more but I was not willing to buy another wardrobe. It has boiled down to exercising more and eating less. No fun. But how do you dress now with your new curvy body? Here are some tips that will help you hide what you feel are liabilities and accentuate your assets.
       Buy what fits your body and not by size. The worse thing is to see someone in pants that are about to bust at the front or size zipper or in the back seam.
       No gaps up front. Buy blouses that fit your bust area.
       For your protruding abdomen chose A-line skirts, sewn down pleats and side-slash pockets
       Consider gathers at the sides of the skirt front or pleats. Make sure that the pleats don?t pull.
       Consider also empire waist dresses.
       Avoid clingy fabrics, dirndl skirts, loose pleats, straight skirts, snug waistbands and tight belts.
       For wide hips consider box style jackets that hit at the waist or those that hit below the hips.
       Avoid straight skirts and pants, unless the top covers the rear.
       Avoid pocket detail, back pockets, big plaids, horizontal patterns and bias-cut skirts.
       If you are petite and have wide hips avoid the long jackets and go for the box style instead.
       If you have a flat rear-end consider two-piece outfits with overlapping tops.
       Also alter trousers to fit and consider gathered skirts.
       As well, make sure that pants fit smoothly.
       If you just have gained weight all over make sure that you clothing fits well. If it doesn?t it draws attention to the problem.
       Choose well-tailored dark suits, and clothing that accents the face such as scarves and jewelry.
       Consider smooth fabrics with tops worn outside the skirt.
       Take narrow belts and wear them slightly below the waist
       Avoid skintight or very loose garments
       As well, choose patterns that are in proportion to your size but veer away from the bold patterns.
       Additionally, avoid bulky sweaters, unstructured jackets, and colors that change at the waist
       Finally avoid wide belts and choose those that are lighter than your pants.
